I'll review this article shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 15:29, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Here are the issues I found:
- The dates vary between dmy and mdy usage; stay consistent. I think Argentina bios put the day first, so do that.
- "Manuel Alberti was born in Buenos Aires on 28 May 1763, his parents being Antonio Alberti and Juana Agustina Marín." perhaps just say "...1763 to Antonio..."
- "He was baptized on the following 1 June at the Concepción parish," should be semicolon, also the following probably is not needed.
- "he could finish all the plan of studies." huh? reword.
- "He returned in 1793, and resigned definitely" a different word might be better instead of 'definitely'. maybe again or definitively (maybe you meant the latter)?
- "and Alberti hide all the valuable things from the half-built parish" hid
- "gave catholic burial to the deceased," burials, and I'm fairly sure that Catholic should be capitalized.
- "This was supposed to be a new jurisdiction slip from the one of San Nicolás de Bari," do you mean split rather than slip?
- "The ruling that created this newspaper gave Alberti with the duty of selecting the news reports to publish" gave Alberti the duty.
- "The government of Buenos Aires name a street in his honor in 1822. In 1910, during the Argentina Centennial, a statue of him was erected in Barrancas de Belgrano. The district of Manuel Alberti, in Buenos Aires Province, is also named after him." would prefer cites for these, but the pic does help support it.
I'll put the article on hold for a week and will pass it when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 05:07, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- Done. I also fixed a pair of details, such as linking to the first Upper Peru campaign (the military campaign) rather than just the place (anyway, that article was still a stub without clear context when I nominated this one). MBelgrano (talk) 14:31, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- When the dates are in dmy format, no comma is needed. (22 may 1900 instead of 22 may, 1900) Wizardman Operation Big Bear 17:23, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

I'll do one more read-through to see if I missed anything. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 18:32, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
- Any further issues I found I went and fixed myself, so the article is now a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:36, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
