Height[edit]

In terms of reliability, Halifax Town's website is at least as reliable as Birmingham City's, and certainly more so than that of the Premier League, with which Mr Roberts has never been registered. Unfortunately, in the case of Mr Roberts, an error was made somewhere – if I had to, I'd guess that someone made a typo of 1.83 for 1.93 – the company that supplied the background stuff (heights, weights, stats etc) to most of the EFL websites duly supplied the wrong value, and it's been blindly copied ever since.

As to contemporary sources,

and, bearing in mind that there aren't many professional centre-backs under six feet tall so it's unlikely clubs or media would describe a man of that height as "towering" or "giant",

Basically, if multiple reliable non-database sources had him 6 ft 4 from 2009 onwards, then he still is, whatever Birmingham City's website and some (but not all) stats databases say now. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:39, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
