Hit by a FlyingToaster

[edit]

But it bounced off.

Afd placed in hasty error; 'hang on' placed more hastily yet.

We be but Wikipedia ships that glance in the night.

Some suggestions for improvement

[edit]

I have just assessed this article for the Military History project and feel that it could be improved by addressing the following issues:

  • Coverage: the article could be expanded to discuss the subject's early and latter life, as well as his military career in more detail. Notable actions that the subject was involved in could also be discussed, particularly those that resulted in gallantry decorations, etc.;
  • Supporting materials: are there any images that could be added to the article, these would serve to illustrate it.

Just a few ideas. Once these have been actioned, you may like to seek re-assessment. This can be obtained by adding the article's name on the list at WP:MHA. Also, peer review comments can be obtained by placing the article name on the list at WP:MHPR. Hope this helps. AustralianRupert (talk) 14:56, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Is the spelling of his name correct? There are contemporary references to him in e.g. Flight and Les Ailles (i/d made unambiguous, as he is referred to as the Hanriot test pilot) which spell it Haeglen.TSRL (talk) 10:37, 20 May 2017 (UTC) I've just noticed that is the spelling in the infobox.TSRL (talk) 10:40, 20 May 2017 (UTC) Some numbers: searching Flight on Haeglen gets 8 hits, Haegelen 1. Suggests we need more contemporary searches, perhaps best in the French journals. Any obits, for example?TSRL (talk) 10:55, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
