Being a business owner does not make one notable. The bio seems primarily based on [1]. While the publisher is notable, we are dealing essentially with a short biographical blurb in a single source (and said blurb was probably written and submitted by her family). Her husband may be notable due to the entry here, I cannot access full text (even my university doesn't subscribe to that database, sadly). I am afraid that her bio is not a topic that's encyclopedic, through perhaps it could be merged to Royal Opera House, through the collection is slim: "She progressed to producing cards and gift tags illustrated in colour with photographs taken by professional photographers. Ballet subjects were a particular favourite.". --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here08:58, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Piotrus, she founded two successful businesses, and saw her works put in the collections of a prestigious organization (one of very few to be accepted by the Royal Opera House, in fact). This, after escaping Nazi Germany and being forced to start a new life and profession, especially in a time when it was both uncommon and harder to be a female business owner. It would be a shame to see this interesting life of achievement turned into yet another woman in red.
@Usernameunique: As you know well, men are more notable than woman. It's unfortunate representation of the gender bias, but Wikipedia does not have a different policy for woman vs man, because neutrality, etc. I mentioned her husband as an example of that fact - he is likely notable. She, unfortunately, fails WP:BIO. We can say nice things about her and admire her, but unless there are reliable sources discussing her life, she is not notable. Having a successful career, being a collector, donating things to museums or such - it is all admirable, but it does not make one encyclopedic. Hopefully, one day those facts will be sufficient that some reliable newspaper, journal or book publishes at least several paragraphs about her life, at which point we can (re)create this article. For now, I think we have to see what AfD will conclude (I will start one, because I am still not convinced that she is notable, on the contrary, I am rather sure she is not). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here08:19, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
