Renaming
[edit]I intend renaming this article to Waller Clifton, by which name he was commonly referred, as mentioned in the article, the reason being that the natural target for the name Marshall Clifton, is the architect and watercolor artist Marshall Waller Gervase Clifton, who was known as Marshall Clifton, as witness his membership of the partnership Parry and Marshall Clifton. Doug butler (talk) 05:29, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
The article is now named Marshall Waller Clifton and the architect Marshall Waller Gervase Clifton. Marshall Clifton will remain a redirect to this page with a hatnote, until some kind of consensus is reached (or at least one interested editor agrees). Doug butler (talk) 04:08, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
