This article should mostly just describe the real Martha Bullock. Comparison to the fictional character in Deadwood should be a minor component. The Seth Bullock article does a good job of this, only mentioning the Deadwood series in a couple sentences of a much longer article. Nathanm mn00:13, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed; I made some modifications to the layout of the page which will hopefully delineate the differentiation. Would be nice if we had more background info, i.e. was she a schoolteacher? Evixir (talk) 20:12, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you could please clarify.
In the statement "Unlike her character in the TV series, she was not originally the widow of Bullock's brother, but is reported to have been his childhood sweetheart" it is unclear whether she was a childhood sweetheart to Seth Bullock or to Seth Bullock's brother. a clearer statement would be helpful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.238.7.65 (talk) 18:08, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
