WOuldn't MXC be considered an actual acting role, as opposed to an appearance? I mean, she's been on there since the start of the series. Tenspeeder 00:44, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Unless your mother is a chain-smoking killer cougar, these are not "straight and motherly roles"
[edit]I edited this text from the section on Scheer's MADtv tenure...
Whereas Sullivan and Wilson tended to play outrageously strange and funny characters, Scheer, in contrast, tended to seek humor by playing the straight and mature motherly roles. Despite her tendencies, Scheer did develop some very memorable characters like chain smoker Mrs. Jewel Barone, Cabana Chat host Dixie Wetsworth, Connie Linder, Debbie Dander, Lily Don, and Mrs. Vigor (Killer Grandma).April 2006 (UTC)
...for the following reason: Anyone who's seen MADtv would know that chainsmoking Jewel Barone, Dixie Wetsworth and Killer Grandma are not "straight and motherly roles". Geez. Kinkyturnip (talk) 02:24, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Name
[edit]Reliable sources are needed before any edit to change the name (yet again) to Harvey-Scheer is made. The repeated change is already the subject of a complaint from the subject (VRTS ticket # 2015070210000428) and compliance with WP:BLP is required on this topic. Nthep (talk) 12:02, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
