A&R at Columbia?

[edit]

Does anyone know if Matt is still working in A&R at Columbia Records? If so, I think a mention should be included.

no. he is no longer working there as of last year.

Birthday

[edit]

Anyone know his birthday, year and all? May 31st, 1960.

His MySpace says he is 41 as of June 2007, but he was actually born in 1960 and is 47.
The birth year currently on this article and on myspace as referenced above is clearly incorrect. I'm his friend on Facebook (although I do not know him IRL) and, based on photos I have access to, he attended his 30th high school reunion last year. Included are photos of signs welcoming the Class of 1979. Based on that, he should have been born around 1961. Also, I have cassette tapes of him on his college radio station from 1980 or 1981, which matches up with the reunion info. As this is all my OR, I am not changing the article, just leaving these notes here. -- But|seriously|folks  21:29, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Playlists

[edit]

Does anyone know where I can find playlists for his show on Sirius?

Birth Place?

[edit]

There is so little info on this dude, it's astounding. He seems rather famous, and yet there's almost nothing on him. If anyone could help here, it'd be awesome (I've pretty much exhausted the Google search route) -LelandRB (Chat · contribs) 05:51, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In terms of where he grew up, East Brunswick NJ as his father was my high school physics teacher there. 20fie18 (talk) 22:07, 15 January 2010 (UTC)20fie18[reply]

Just wanted to point out the obvious vandalism in this article about his "death" via a beard-trimming accident. Maybe someone who knows what he is actually doing now can fix it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.79.154.240 (talk) 14:24, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

His music knowledge

[edit]

Matt has a reputation for being extremely knowledgeable about music. If this is true or just a career-busting myth, I do not know but I think it to be true from what I've seen of him. If sources can be found, something about this would be good to note in the article. Jason Quinn (talk) 20:39, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
