@Neux-Neux: Hello, can you please state your reasoning for moving the article? From what I recall the name "Mazun" is generally used for the Sasanian province only. HistoryofIran (talk) 12:14, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mazun is also the Persian name of Sohar. Long after the fall of the Sasanian Empire, Sohar continued to be known as Mazun in the high medieval period. The sources are given in the article of Sohar. Neux-Neux (talk) 13:43, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
