The Pebble and the Penguin (CGI Remake)

[edit]

MGM Animation planned for the CGI remake version of the 1995 film. It will due to star Christina Ricci as Marina, main character, Jerry Trainor as Hubie, Jude Law as Rocko, Tina Fey as Jamie, Rocko's big sister, Alec Baldwin as Drake, the main antagonist who banished Marina, and Keifer Sutherland as Drake's Dad. It will come out on December 25, 2017. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.24.84.3 (talk) 18:09, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any evidence to prove this, or are you just making up stuff? Trivialist (talk) 18:23, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm trying to plan for the CGI remake verison of the 1995 film. However, it will come out on December 25, 2017. But instead of failing badly since 1995, it will be a either positive, mixed or negative reviews as of the commercial success on 2017. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.24.84.3 (talk) 18:30, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In order to add this to various articles, you will need to cite a reliable source for the information. Otherwise, your edits will continue to be reverted. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:18, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This is nonsense on stilts. The supposed film is not being planned for a specific date four years in advance, nor is Disney releasing kids' fare on Christmas day. - SummerPhD (talk) 18:29, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Someone needs to stop adding non-MGM Animation-produced films on this article

[edit]

Films like The Secret of NIMH, Rock & Rule, All Dogs Go to Heaven, The Pebble and the Penguin, Donkey Kong Country: Legend of the Crystal Coconut, Stellaluna and Igor were made by Sullivan Bluth Studios, Nelvana, Scholastic Productions and Exodus Productions, not by MGM Animation. 75.139.228.175 (talk) 19:23, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

founding

[edit]

Was Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Animation founded due to Don Bluth going bankrupt causing MGM to doubt his further movies would be completed leading Warner Brothers Family Entertainment distributing Thumbelina and A Troll In Central Park instead? Thumbelina's failure along The Lion King's success led to the formation of Warner Brothers Feature Animation. Universal Cartoon Studios (now Universal Animation Studios) was originally formed to produced T.V. shows in 1991. Two years later, they started to develop their first film, The Land Before Time 2 coming straight to video announced in July 1993. I think they didn't bother making theatrical films till 2006 due to Universal distributing Amblimation's films. The failure of We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story in November of that year was the first in the set of dominoes that led that studio to die in 1997 in favor of Dreamworks Animation which would be founded three years prior. --Evope (talk) 17:29, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
