Move discussion in progress

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Jamaica (LIRR station) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 01:34, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Inaugural Silver Meteor trip

[edit]

According to the page for the Silver Meteor, the first run of that train on the Seaboard Air Line Railroad was chartered to begin from the 1939 New York State Fair LIRR station, a link which redirects to this page. I was considering referencing that event in this article, but the article cite used on the page for the Silver Meteor appears to no longer be active; does anyone have thoughts on what to do? Station's full-time status

[edit]

I have had to undo Richiekim's reversions twice that removed information about the station currently being open full time. He notes that the vaccination site is now closed, but the station remains open as per the current timetable, which is noteworthy of inclusion since it illustrates the current service pattern. Continued attempts to repeatedly remove notable and properly sourced content could lead to being blocked. Pacific Coast Highway (talk) 17:15, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
