December 2018[edit]

In creating this article I own to a possible conflict of interest. I know the subject of the article. However, I have written it with, I believe, a meticulous eye to neutral point of view from what I have found on the subject. Everything is reffed to reliable sources, and it is these sources alone that make him notable. What has been extracted from these sources (positive/neutral/negative) I fondly believe has fair balance, but I am willing to be reviewed by other experienced Wikipedia editors on this as I may be may be wrong.

Michael Fentiman has emailed me and expressed concern that he believes there is an over-stressed negativity in some parts of the article which could adversely affect his career. Is he right in his observation that the article is too focused on reviews? I would appreciate others looking what is written, specifically by checking the sources relating to the text, and suggesting any suitable or necessary rewriting to emphasize a better neutrality. I have also added this request to the WikiProject Biography Talk page. Thanks. Acabashi (talk) 18:26, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion of edits 7 February 2021[edit]

An IP address removed swathes of properly sourced and referenced text, 20 references in all, and added other unsourced text on this BLP, while referring to Fentiman in promo puff-style as 'Michael' and removing all but favourable reviews which strongly indicates a more than probable COI. Any text addition to a biography of a living person absolutely needs to be referenced to reliable independent sources, and any removal of properly sourced text and references needs a very strong rationale through discussion on this talk page, not a smoke screen edit summary such as "Formatting the theatre directors profile to be more in line with the other Wilkipedia biographies of people in that profession". This IP address is part of a range of addresses that indicates a location via Talk-Talk at the Soapworks office block in Salford Quays 'Media City'. Acabashi (talk) 11:30, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
