That would be difficult as it is just so difficult to distinguish fact from disinformation. But given that wet jobs seem to be contracted out to adventurers (or sometimes worse) and the event took place 5 months after the US/Bolivian diplomatic relations were severed, it would have been helpful to get Morales out of the way. On the BBC website is this: "2009 April - President Morales says a plot to assassinate him was foiled when police killed three international mercenaries in a raid on a house in the opposition stronghold Santa Cruz." That looks like the same incident. Since then the Heywood death in China has occurred and been widely discussed on the net. He seemed to have been only supplying info, wasn't a contractor for a wet job. All very sad.
