Midway Arcade Treasures 4

[edit]

I could not find any official info on a "Midway Arcade Treasures 4" except fan speculation in various forums and the wiki page. It seems at this time it is pure rumor-mongering, speculation and/or wishful thinking. There is no announcement up on Midway.com either.

Also, Rampage 2: Universal Tour was never released in arcades (it was planned, but cancelled in favor of a console-only release).

Anyway here's the excised quote until the information can be independantly verified:

"On September 2006, Midway Arcade Treasures 4 will be released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Revolution containing all 8 games such as Rampage 2: Universal Tour and Mortal Kombat 4"

Hello, I emailed Miday about this and received the following response:

Subj: Response to inquiry #15730 from Midway Support Date: 11/9/2006 2:01:55 PM Eastern Standard Time From: midwaysupport@midway.com

Response: Thank you for contacting Midway Tech/Customer Support. Please see below for details about your inquiry to Midway.

Dear Matthew,

Thank you for contacting Midway Tech/Customer Support. I'd like to thank you for your continued interest in the CarnEvil and the Midway Arcade Treasures Franchise, at the moment we have no official word on a sequel.

I really enjoyed the game, and I personally would like to see a sequel as well. I guess we'll just have to keep an eye on the press releases at www.midway.com. You can subscribe to Midway's newsletter from the website; this will keep you in the loop as to what Midway is up to and what's coming soon.

If you have any questions or need game play assistance on a Midway product, please feel free to call one of our Customer Support Representatives.

Thank you again for your interest in Midway Home Entertainment games.

Regards, Midway Tech/Customer Support

Rating

[edit]

Why is it rated teen?

It's rated Teen because Smash TV is included and that game has shooting, blood, and violence. Mega Man 5 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Million seller

[edit]

This compilation sold a million copies. Just in case someone wants to add that (not enough time right now for me). -- ReyBrujo (talk) 04:26, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
