Sourcing needs attention

[edit]

I have some serious concerns about the souring. These concerns detract from Thomas's notability per Wikipedia:Notability (academics). I am looking at this permalink. I see what can only be self created profiles for organisation membership and also references that have the feel of PR pieces despite being written by named authors. These need to be enhanced, replaced where possible.

It is currently up for deletion and ought to be kept, but, for a living person we have a high standard of referencing, higher than this article demonstrates. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to ensure this article is not deleted now or in the future, no (0.9 probability), nor subjected to a deletion process.
