Pro-King POV
Well, reading this article it seems like the Morocco King is a pretty democratic nice guy, almost like a Prince Charles from Sahara. But well, things doesn't seem tyo be exactly in this way - just take a look at the BBC article that shows that Mohammed VI, though praised by the so-called International community and shaking hands with Bush Junior at the White House, rules and controls his own country like an autocrat, to say at least.
We should remember that dictators are not just the ones that are against the West. --MaGioZal 18:26, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Absolute Monarchs are not automatically evil. 24.14.120.92 19:41, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- True, they are however, automatically undemocratic.--Sparrowhawk64 (talk) 11:07, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
No, but no one's mentioning the whole Western Sahara thing either, which is very much much on this guys plate. I think issues like this can be brought up in a meaningful way without engaging in false balance, just as an article on George W Bush would mention the invasion of Iraq as a significant source of criticism against him. 66.79.234.185 17:30, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Unreferenced
There are absolutely no references for this biography of a living person. LadyofShalott 05:16, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Seconded. If this cannot be fixed I propose we scrap everything unreferenced.--Sparrowhawk64 (talk) 11:06, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Gay or not?
Someone should discuss the widespread rumours on the King's alleged homosexuality. Not because they are true, they probably are not. But they are important in themselves and may have political implications.--Farouk yalla 14:08, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- That someone should be you, I think. --flyhighplato 19:51, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- As long as you cite credible sources, of course.--Carabinieri 19:59, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Does the Wikipedia community think its worth mentioning the king's (alleged) sexuality. I've seen a few claims in the media of the king being gay but, of course, any such claims couldn't be verified without his admission. --~ ~ : Lincoln Cooper : ~ ~ (talk) 00:49, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
This article may help put any claims into better perspective.--~ ~ : Lincoln Cooper : ~ ~ (talk) 00:53, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- No. There are strict rules concerning what Wikipedia can say about living people, and we can't speculate about people's sexual preferences. Hut 8.5 16:57, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Why can't we discuss what the rumors are with specifying that those are the rumors? Rumors might not be facts, but the facts that rumors exist is true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinnygold (talk • contribs) 00:35, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

'BA' (Bachelor of Arts) in law?
I'm not from Morocco, but from looking at the website, [1], they call it a 'Bachelor's Degree', which is what I think is meant here. Tjpob (talk) 11:48, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
Amir al Muminine
The article says "self-appointed" at the beginning. Considering hat his father King Hassan II already had this title, wouldn't "inherited" be more accurate? -- Cghost (talk) 18:39, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- May I add that this title is part of the Moroccan Constitution too? -- 93.221.179.27 (talk) 06:23, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
This makes no sense
"Mohammed VI also created the so-called Instance Equité et Réconciliation (IER), a commission, which was supposed to research human rights violations under Hassan II. The commission was however not allowed to report about human rights violations until 1999, when Mohammed was enthroned."
According to the article on Equity_and_Reconciliation_Commission it was founded in 2004 so The commission was however not allowed to report about human rights violations until 1999, when Mohammed was enthroned. does not make any sense.
The whole section is messy, jumping to and fro dates/times, unclear, and should be reworked, but by someone "in the know", so not me. E.g. the next sentence reads This move was welcomed by many as a move towards democracy, … - errm, what ? The intronisation of Mohammed VI. , or the founding of the IER ? What does any of those have to do with democracy ?
Please, someone ? Pardon my German (Fiiiisch!) (talk) 15:37, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. I removed that contradictory statement and began cleanup of the section (will do more in a bit). Michaelmas1957 03:39, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Royal. Victorian order
The page for royal Victorian does not record HM Mohammed VI — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.64.78.218 (talk) 23:25, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

He is also listed as having been awarded a US Silver Star, a decoration only given for combat heroism and not awarded to a foreign national in an honorary manner. It is much more likely that he has the Legion of Merit and not the Silver Star. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.185.1.183 (talk) 01:49, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
His name as a child
It would be interesting to note in the article what his name was as a child. I am trying to remember but have forgot as the years passed. Mohammed could have been a middle name, but he was known by another. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.230.78.216 (talk) 15:07, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Chronic disease ?
There is no info about his disease, which has been recently discussed by French politicians. --Pascal Boulerie (talk) 13:03, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
