Is he dead ?

[edit]

Simon Heffer recently referred to the late Morgan Morgan-Giles in one of his articles. Can anyone confirm if and when he has died? --Dovea (talk) 19:45, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In case anyone's still interested, this was a mistake by Simon Heffer, and the admiral's son Rodney wrote in to say his father was still alive. He said "Although never known for punctuality, he is not that late and will shortly celebrate his 91st birthday. He marked his 90th by riding my son's motorbike around our garden." Reference
He would be 95 now and seems to still be alive. 87.80.97.137 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:20, 8 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Unreferenved addition, possible copyvio

[edit]

I have just reverted for the second time the addition to this article of number of lines of extra material in note format, which did not cite any reference and looked like a possible WP:COPYVIO. I have left a note on the talk page of the anon IP editor who added the material. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:34, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DoB

[edit]

The article states both 19 June and 19 July - which is it? Arjayay (talk) 08:32, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Every source on the page says 19 June. I assume that "July" was a typo from the person who added the line, thus I have corrected it. Canadian Paul 16:56, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
