I tagged the LEAD section with several clean-up tags because I think it is too long and detailed and contains irrelevant material about the perpetrator. The lead section should be a summary oveview of the EVENT with all the detail about the Criminal Event in the body of the article, too. It should not be a dumping ground for all those facts that have been omitted from the main body of the article. I have tagged some of extra information in the lead section that has not been included in the body of the article with a not verified in body tag. What I am attempting to indicate here is that these statements in the lead do not have corresponding body text and either require citations in the lead, or may be better migrated to the body of the article where they can be sourced more thoroughly. Also, the extra information about the perpetrator's subsequent activities in prison, and current placement, which are not related to the movie theater shooting, do not need to be in the lead section. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:47, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
