Article title seems wrong[edit]

The present article title seems to imply that this particular branch of Moscow State University is named after Lomonosov, when it's the entire university that is named so, as the English Wikipedia MSU title makes clear, as well as the Russian version of this page being named ru:Филиал МГУ имени М. В. Ломоносова в Ташкенте, which is very close to the title used at the school's website. Should the page be moved? Dhtwiki (talk) 23:46, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! I've been wondering that as well. I don't know anything about the university, however (I'm just copyediting), so I left the name alone in most cases and only changed it when it was a chore to read through the entire title. I agree that the name should be fixed, but I don't know where you want to move the article. Maybe it would be better to keep the article where it is and just edit the name while making it consistent and a bit clearer instead of moving it. It depends on where you're wanting to move the article. Miscellaneous Machinery (talk) 04:33, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
At this point, I would just lop off the "...named for M. V. Lomonosov" bit. Then there seem to be several pages linking here that have been redirected already. They might have to be changed so as not to have double or broken redirects. Dhtwiki (talk) 05:56, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
