Dates

[edit]

The ComicbookDB calls them Cover dates, not release dates. I think coverdates have to do with something else than releasedates, they're not the same and I don't think ComicbookDB shows release dates at all. Ideas?★Trekker (talk) 21:37, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Motor Girl doesn't have cover dates. Cover dates were used by publishers to let newsstand dealers know when to take unsold copies of a book off the shelf and return them for credit. That's why cover dates are usually 2 months after release. Since Motor Girl is not available outside of comic book shops, returns aren't an option and a cover date would be useless. The months listed in the table are the months the issues became available. Argento Surfer (talk) 21:51, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ah ok. That makes sense in that case. Thanks.★Trekker (talk) 22:19, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
