Hubble?[edit]

Someone should write a couple of paragraphs related to the activities of Hubble. I believe that in the 1930s, he worked there and proved that the universe was expanding.

"In use for science"[edit]

There are a couple places that use this phrase, which is a bit of an odd way of saying it's being used for scientific research. I'm going to change it. 75.83.67.181 (talk) 21:44, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Readability problems with section on 60-inch telescope[edit]

This section is concerned with the 60-inch telescope. Therefore I think we can remove the repeated text: 60-inch (1,500 mm) which is scattered throughout this section - it's repetitive and doesn't help readability. I would like to change this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by M62902 (talkcontribs) 11:45, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

I agree and have removed several conversions. I'm sure someone just did a search-and-replace. The common name of the telescope is the "60 inch" reflector or telescope (though it's also called the Hale telescope).   Will Beback  talk  12:31, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
