Mumbai Chennai MailMumbai CSMT - MGR Chennai Central Mail – Change in name of destination Sai199610 (talk) 05:13, 13 June 2019 (UTC)--Relisting. DannyS712 (talk) 20:11, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The name of the source and the destination have been changed from those of the older ones. The changes are made in the official indian railways website. Sai199610 (talk) 16:35, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Sai199610 (talk) 07:20, 13 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There is no participation. Then I think this is an uncontroversial move. Ping User: Matthew hk. Sai199610 (talk) 14:42, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is not an uncontroversial move. I had further comment on the same reliable source issue, closing the RM, etc already at Talk:Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station#Requested move 15 June 2019, Talk:Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Chennai Central Weekly Express and Talk:Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central Railway Station. Matthew hk (talk) 06:40, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes these sources are the reliable and the relevant ones. Now if you oppose give a relevant reason with resource. And i have mentioned in the other Talk page that giving Newspaper resources are not easy as finding the names of such trains are very very rare. There are moves of many other trains without even a proper resource given. Sai199610 (talk) 08:10, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The common name of this train is purely based on its source and destination stations. The common name of Chennai Central as per the newspaper article that I am providing proves it to be "MGR Chennai Central".

  • Two changes at Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MGR central

https://m.timesofindia.com/city/chennai/two-changes-at-puratchi-thalaivar-dr-mgr-central/articleshow/69731857.cms Also I have given Reliable secondary source news articles of the common name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station on its talk page Talk: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station to be CSMT. So in this case as per the common names of the source and destination stations the article can be moved with the new request made by me.Sai199610 (talk) 10:06, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you have to oppose provide a more reliable and relevant source.Sai199610 (talk) 10:14, 18 June 2019 (UTC) PingUser:Matthew hk.Sai199610 (talk) 07:46, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose – A spaced hyphen has no sensible role is wikipedia, where we have MOS:DASH. Separation of source and destination by an unspaced en dash would be appropriate. No opinion on the rest of the issue since I haven't dug into it. Dicklyon (talk) 05:59, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
