Notes

[edit]

This article is being updated with modern sources. The older public domain texts are used as a starting base which will be corrected, updated and expanded with information "only in revised sources". So the article can meet WP:HISTRS. Regards,--Nizil (talk) 06:09, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent content addition

[edit]

GujaratiHistoryinDNA, I had requested you to take it to talk page, but rather than doing it you kept on reverting. I am again posting the answer to your queries which I had explained you twice before- just see this reference you had added- [[1]], the details of Cohn, Russel book exactly says that the content are from Wikipedia articles here - "High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Muzaffarid dynasty were sultans of Gujarat in western India from 1391 to 1583. The founder of the dynasty was Zafar Khan Muzaffar (later Muzaffar Shah I) who was governor of Gujarat under the Delhi Sultanate..." . It is a reference based on wikipedia articles not an academic reference. On Wikipedia, mirror contents are not used. Read WP:SPS, WP:MAF, WP:UGC. We don't need some extra ordinary brain to understand this. The first reference added- [[2]], does not even have writers name, it has an editor's name there and they have collated it into a book (first page of it says). Now, please read what is WP:RS, WP:HISTRS and WP:SPS this reference added by you is not an academic reference at all as per it. You have already removed that rarebook third reference you added. That is another case of WP:SPS. If you are too much adamant on adding your content, please get an academic reference by a notable historian. Akalanka820 (talk) 15:14, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]

@User:CrashLandingNew instead of edit warring, pinpoint source which says that he was from Rajputana, and I'm removing it till you provide one.Sutyarashi (talk) 19:01, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There you go, the reference Mehta, JL. Advanced Study in the History of Medieval India. ...his family belonged to a Rajput sect of Tonk (Rajputana)
Another reference Abbas, Saiyed Anwar. Confluence of Cultures. Saharan by name, men of wealth and consequence, who belonged to Tanka Tribe of Rajputana
Also, don't use a threatening tone. You can't suo moto remove or add something when it is backed by citations, to push your POV. CrashLandingNew (talk) 19:04, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
