Image of the West Sea Barrage

[edit]

I've put a request in with with the Korea Computer Center through their website [1] for the image of the West Sea Barrage located at [2] for use in this article. I'll post when I hear back. kev. (talk) 01:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Use of the term "controversial" as the article's second word

[edit]

I've just removed the word "controversial" as the second word of the article. In my opinion, there's a place to discuss the controversy, which can be in the later paragraph starting, "Foreign critics..." However, for an encyclopedia article about the barrage as a structure, the introductory phrase shouldn't be "the controversial Nampho Dam..." Of course, I welcome discussion here if anyone should feel the need to revert and discuss. And, this is not to say that the adverse effects from the barrage cannot be discussed later in the article. Tidal barrage?

[edit]

The article says the dam is a tidal barrage. However, the tidal barrage article says that a tidal barrage is designed for power generation. There is no suggestion that the Nampo Dam is doing that.--Jack Upland (talk) 22:44, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
