my rewrite

[edit]

I just rewrote the article based on the information it already contained and a little bit from her husband's article; I did very little additional research and the whole thing could well be a tissue of lies, for all I know. A note: the husband's article lists 1953 for the marriage, and this one says 1956. Also, I tried to include a reference to an examiner.com story, but apparently that's a spam domain. Here's the ref, minus the link: Libov, Charlotte. www.examiner.com/article/world-erotic-art-museum-day-proclaimed-miami-beach "'World Erotic Art Museum Day' proclaimed in Miami Beach" Examiner.com. October 19, 2010. Retrieved 21 February 2013. squibix(talk) 02:32, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Though I don't know the correct marriage date, the article is by no means a "tissue of lies". There are plenty of reliable sources available, and I have added several to the article. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 06:09, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No no, of course not. I was just saying that I hadn't done any verification myself, in case someone started to make trouble re: BLP violations. I was very sleepy while doing the work and didn't trust myself to find appropriate citations, let alone format them correctly. Thanks for your awesome work! squibix(talk) 11:45, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

headings

[edit]

Given the current brevity of this article, I think it might be better off without as many sections and headings. The "Museum" heading seems particularly problematic, because it is as much about Wilzig herself as it is the museum; similarly the "Collection" section seems like it has just as much to say about the museum. "Early Years" also takes us all the way up to 2005, when Wilzig was 71, so while it's true that maybe she hadn't attained encyclopedic notability until that point, I don't know if early is quite correct. Anyways, I would favor removing the heading, as per my first edit to the article, but that's my stylistic prejudice in any case; I'm open to contrary arguments. squibix(talk) 11:50, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
