Unnamed section
[edit]Would it make sense to say "the first smartphone with Android 5 Lollipop" rather than "the first device"? Because it seems that the Nexus 9 will ship with L before the Nexus 6 does, given when they are taking pre-orders for both devices...
Camera specs
[edit]The aperture of the rear camera is f/2.0, see https://www.google.com/nexus/6/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.39.175.201 (talk) 07:09, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
Also in the Specifications section, please remove the spamlink to Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 , per WP:EL 184.209.2.185 (talk) 15:17, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- Done, thank you for pointing these out! — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 16:41, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
Nexus 6's successor and Android 6.0
[edit]When do Nexus 6's successor and Android 6.0 releases? What is the name of the Nexus 6's successor and codename of Android 6.0? 114.79.13.175 (talk) 22:46, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- "What is the name of the Nexus 6's successor" Who knows? Maybe it won't be Nexus anything; without a citation, it would be a mistake to choose a name and start sticking it on lots of Wikipedia pages, as some trolls have been doing.
- "and codename of Android 6.0?" Maybe it's "Android Madeleine". Or maybe it's "Android Marshmallow". Or "Android Maple Sugar". Or "Android Mud Pie". Or maybe something I haven't listed. There are plenty of possibilities, so, without a citation, it would be a mistake to choose any of them and start sticking it on lots of Wikipedia pages, as some trolls have been doing. - "and codename of Android 6.0?" Maybe it's "Android Madeleine". Or maybe it's "Android Marshmallow". We know now that it is "Marshmallow." We also know that Nexus 6 devices started receiving Android v6.0 in October of 2015 (mine already has it from an OTA install). Bropers (talk) 15:30, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
Please add Nexus 2015 (Bullhead and Angler) as the successor of Nexus 6. Many websites have already stated that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.193.86.20 (talk) 07:05, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- Not done: Do you mean "many fortune-tellers"? Rwxrwxrwx (talk) 08:38, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Please change "upgradable to 5.1" to "upgradable to 5.1 and 6.0 M" in the infobox, because there is already a download link in developers.android.com. 139.193.86.20 (talk) 07:08, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Not done: That's a "developer preview". Rwxrwxrwx (talk) 08:29, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Please add the successor of Nexus 6 (Huawei Angler Nexus) into the successor section of infobox. Also add Android 6.0 M to the operating system in the infobox. 125.166.199.187 (talk) 11:34, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not report on rumors, therefore unless anything is announced that should not be listed. Please provide a WP:RS that shows this has been officially announced if you want it added. - GalatzTalk 13:28, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Project Fi
[edit]Seems this is something missing in all of WP. Anyway, the Nexus 6 is the only phone right now that supports Google's Project Fi as the network. Seems important enough to add it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.199.141.115 (talk) 14:13, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
The newly announced Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X both also now support Google Fi Bropers (talk) 15:28, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Where specifically am I putting this? --allthefoxes (Talk) 20:20, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
