Is there a template specifically for virtual reality headsets?

[edit]

I believe virtual reality headsets need their own template that would include VR-specific fields. Possible fields include (but are not limited to):

  • head tracking system (inside-out or outside-in), how many cameras and their positioning (because field "camera" usually means camera for photo and video).
  • controller racking system
  • IPD adjustment (hardware or software, the adjustment range)
  • lens type (Fresnel or other), and if device is usable with glasses (or custom prescription lenses are available)
  • field of view
  • cord length or recommended usable area (sit-down VR vs. room-scale and how large the room should be)
  • system type: stand-alone (Windows MR, Android, Oculus, VivePort, or custom) vs PC (Windows MR and/or Steam VR) vs console (PlayStation VR)
  • supported features like video pass-through (if device has cameras), guardian system — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anton.bersh (talkcontribs) 21:31, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
