Added both the 5/18 and 1/17 FA units. 5/18 had the entire Battalion there, while I think that 1/17th had just their Alpha Battery (Company) I was in D 5/18, which was an ad hoc Battery made up of guys from svc, hhb batteries as well as other personel that could be grabbed from other 75th Brigade units. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.176.129.182 (talk) 15:47, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The HQ's Detachment, 759th MP Bn., and 59th MP Company (Ft. Carson, CO) deployed to Gitmo from Sept. 9, 1994, to Jan. 23, 1995. My company, 59th, ran Camps Papa and Quebec on the Golf Course, we lived with the 1/12th Inf. on the Football field at the High School. 59th MP's then ran Camps #3 (Papa and Quebec combined), #7 (Repatriation Camp), and #9 (Haitian orphans) on the Old Heliport on the Windward side of the base.[1][2]8.24.110.241 (talk) 15:52, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
