The image linked to this page (Image:Cymdeithas-logo.svg) was originally created (drawn by hand) by Owain Owain. The full story can be seen on his website: www.owainowain.net. The logo was then used by the Welsh Language Society (Cymdeithas yr Iaith). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Llywelyn2000 (talk • contribs) 05:21, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Why has this image been deleted? If it was formed / created originally by Owain Owain then a copy should be in this article with an explanation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.1.119.246 (talk) 17:10, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Cymdeithas-logo.svg
[edit]The image Image:Cymdeithas-logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Proposed merge of Y Dydd Olaf with Owain Owain
[edit]toRather than delete this article under WP:NB for lack of WP:RS, it has been suggested that a merge to the book's author page at Owain Owain could be considered. Please make your Support, Oppose , or Comment in bulleted list form below, and remember to sign your vote.
- Support as per nomination suggestion.--Kudpung (talk) 07:18, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- You write: "...a merge to the book's author page at Owain Owain could be considered." Which page to you propose merging this article with? This is the Owain Owain page.--Rhyswynne (talk) 09:07, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- STRONGLY AGAINST merging. There two references to two highly respected writers in the reference section. Stating that there is a lack of references is rubbish. Read the article again and you will find:
- Trwy Ddulliau Chwyldro...?, Dylan Phyllips, Gwasg Gomer press, 1998.
- Wyt Ti'n Cofio? by Gwilym Tudur (Gwasg y Lolfa Press, 1989)
- Owain Owain practically single handedly formed the Welsh Language Society (see www.owainowain.net and the 15 quotes by people such as Saunders Lewis), therefore do NOT try to delete this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.1.119.246 (talk) 17:07, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

- It doesn't meet the criteria; I've merged the articles. Llywelyn2000 (talk) 05:23, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
