Pablo Ruiz (disambiguation)Pablo Ruiz – Both the soccer player and the singer are notable, so there's no primary usage Cambalachero (talk) 00:30, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. They are both notable, which means we don't delete the articles about them. They can both be notable and still have a primary topic. Given no indication of usage or reader expectation for a different arrangement, and noting that the handful of incoming wikilinks all intend the football player, I oppose. -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:13, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support: If there is a primary usage it seems more likely to be the singer: 2536 page views in last 90 days, compared to 547 for the footballer. So "Pablo Ruiz" should either be the singer, or a dab page, and not a redirect to the footballer as at present. PamD 12:54, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. If anything the singer is primary. The singer's page gets about 4-5 times more traffic (2548) than the footballer (532). Even if we assume all the traffic for the redirect (580) is meant for the footballer, that is still over twice as much for the singer over the footballer. But the traffic for the the disambiguation page (263) gets about half the traffic as the redirect. A Google search shows the singer with more top results, with Picasso second and the footballer barely noticeable. As an aside, Pablo Ruiz Picasso is also a Spanish name as is the footballer Pablo Ruiz Barrero. Why is one ambiguous with Pablo Ruiz and the other not? olderwiser 12:54, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
