Withdrawn by nominator.

Mental Hospital, Pabna
Mental Hospital, Pabna

Created by Mehediabedin (talk). Self-nominated at 16:56, 9 June 2022 (UTC).[reply]

  • I'm not a fan of the photo, because most of the hospital itself is hidden behind the palms. Szmenderowiecki (talk) 12:53, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Szmenderowiecki: Then we can remove the photo from nomination. Mehedi Abedin 13:01, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • General eligibility:

Policy compliance:

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: A QPQ is not needed. The article is ready for promotion, but without the image. The beginning of the hook should be "that the". SL93 (talk) 22:04, 2 July 2022 (UTC) SL93 (talk) 22:00, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have tweaked the hook to add it. SL93 (talk) 02:08, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • @SL93: I had to change the hook a little bit because the amount isn’t written in the source. Do you think the hook is okay? Or should I propose alternative hook? Mehedi Abedin 14:08, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • ALT1 ... that since the establishment of Pabna Mental Hospital, it has treated 79,444 patients and 84% of the patients have been able to leave the hospital?
      • Mehediabedin I could have sworn that I saw the amount there, but I now see everything in that source except the amount. I think that the tweaked original hook is fine now that the amount has been removed. I personally don't think that ALT1 is all that interesting. SL93 (talk) 15:36, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
        • @SL93: Is ALT0 is approved? If so, can you specify that below and perhaps re-add a green tick? Thanks, Z1720 (talk) 16:09, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
          • Now that the amount of compensation has been edited out, it is. SL93 (talk) 16:11, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

            • @Mehediabedin: I was going to promote this, but I find that the "Criticism" section does not comply with WP:NPOV. A lot of the statements in this section are opinionated statements that are written in Wikivoice. Instead, I think the article should specify who is giving these criticisms (and not just in the citation, but in the actual text). I would also be helpful if the hospital's response was also given to these criticisms. Z1720 (talk) 16:21, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
            • @Z1720: Understand. I will rewrite the section in days (maybe in one day) and will inform you. Mehedi Abedin 17:13, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
            • @Z1720: Done. I gave opinion of hospitals but not every source had authority opinion. Also added reporters and criticizer for their statement in the section. Mehedi Abedin 18:37, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
              • I did a copyedit of the criticism section to smooth out other NPOV concerns, therefore I'm re-adding the tick based on SL93's review above and my concerns being resolved. Z1720 (talk) 19:19, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I pulled the hook per this discussion at Errors. SL93 (talk) 21:41, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's possible to withdraw a nomination. Marking for closure as withdrawn. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 00:03, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Only government mental hospital in Bangladesh?[edit]

I removed the claim of being the only government mental hospital in Bangladesh from the lead. Banglapedia does say this [1]. However, this seems to be contradicted by the Routledge source which mentions the National Institute of Mental Health. Spicy (talk) 07:03, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Spicy: Actually it was the only government based specialised mental hospital when established. It was my mistake to write that. Mehedi Abedin 19:28, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mehediabedin Can you add the information to the article before it hits the main page? SL93 (talk) 19:54, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't notice that it was changed. Sorry about that. SL93 (talk) 19:57, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
