GA Review
[edit]This review is transcluded from Talk:Papal appointment/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.
This article fails to meet the Good Article criteria and has therefore been failed. Issues with this article include:
- A large number of references are Wikisource, when wikis are not allowed to be used as references, per WP:RS.
- This page appears to be more of a list than an article, so I strongly recommend that when it is ready, that it be nominated at WP:FLC rather than WP:GAN.

- I was under the impression that lists could become good articles. Also, the ws source is a bit odd; ws just retains an easily linkable copy of the article, it's not the publisher. Savidan 21:17, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, fair enough about the Wikisource references. However, lists cannot become Good Articles. They go straight to FLC. Gary King (talk) 00:45, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
