This is a very problematic analysis. To try to reframe rape as a privilege, or as the reason for a privilege, is so chilling to me, because you manage to completely hide the trauma and violence inflicted on enslaved women by rape. This trauma, plus the fact that enslaved women were expected to do most of the labor of domestic reproduction in an oppressive environment makes it pretty easy to assume that actually men were more privileged at the time.
