Missing info about 1946 scandal in the USA?[edit]

I noticed that there is no mention of the scandal that surrounded one of Delvaux' nudes in 1946 in the USA and which had a nation-wide media echo: Delvaux was one of eleven artists (including Dali, Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning) invited to make one painting based on "Temptation of St Anthony" for an upcoming movie production "The Private Affairs of Bel Ami". His painting which featured three nudes was then condemned by the Mayor of Boston who tried to shut down the exhibition.
