Family Life

[edit]

Paul Kelly was my father. While his mathematical accomplishments are accurate enough, there is nothing in his article about his three marriages or his two children. Also, his death date is incorrect. I would like to add this information, but am not sure how to do it. Meganmushrat (talk) 22:12, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We don't often list family members unless they are themselves the subject of separate Wikipedia articles or their existence is somehow relevant to the notability of the subject (unlike obituaries; see WP:NOTMEMORIAL). As for the death date, it is the date listed by the published sources used as a basis for this article and specifically [1]. For a different date we would need a published source for that date, but it would be best if the st-andrews site could also be corrected, because otherwise the best we could say would likely be "different sites give different dates". —David Eppstein (talk) 22:35, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
