Can we get some information about his parents and his background? The article seems to be lacking in his life history.--71.141.146.245 22:49, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And can we get a citation about him having a daughter. Is she from a previous relationship? She is not listed at IMDB--69.171.35.198 02:26, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Umm...he died today?? Why is there no news coverage about it anywhere, nor is it mentioned on any of his other bio web pages? What source are you reporting his death from?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.121.94.100 (talk) 05:48, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I saw something about this on a newswebsite too —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.65.244.239 (talk) 17:41, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He has no daughter. Just two sons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.124.12.92 (talk) 15:49, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Three books listed

[edit]

For some reason in the one paragraph describing his bookwork, there are three listed, and right after them, it says "both appeared on the new york times bestseller list". This is grammatically incorrect. Three books with "both" listed, just doesn't make sense. Would someone care to correct this to make it seem less confusing? unsourced

[edit]

there is a bit of unsourced claims here, such as him being the 77th best comedian. It should be cited, or deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coemgenv (talkcontribs) 22:50, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

True Age

[edit]

Paul Reiser stated in June of 2017, on a relatively well-known internet talk show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AueMo4XVkAc), that he was actually 61 years old, not 60, as the date frequently listed in the media as his birthdate would suggest. He explained that his birthdate has erroneously been reported one year off the true year for decades, ever since an interviewer early in his career miscalculated it; and that accordingly, he is actually one year older than sites like Wikipedia currently indicate. Based on Paul Reiser's own detailed statements during the June 2017 talk show interview, then, his true date of birth would be March 30, 1956, not 1957, a currently stated on Wikipedia. I haven't tried to make the change, because I have no idea if it's acceptable to support an edit with this sort of audio evidence. I leave it up for discussion, if anyone's interested. azaner 05:52, 25 September 2017 (UTC)

He's also made the same statement in writing on twitter: https://twitter.com/PaulReiser/status/979763953319333888 He was in fact born in 1956, NOT 1957. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:601:1601:3F7C:F4DF:B246:6546:F7F3 (talk) 17:19, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
