Peabody Trust → Peabody — Peabody Trust rebranded in 2008 and is now simply known as Peabody. Peabody london (talk) 10:31, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose, unless it can clearly be demonstrated that this is the primary meaning of "Peabody". Perhaps this could be moved to Peabody (trust) otherwise. —innotata (Talk • Contribs) 15:05, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose I don't think this is WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Fruther, the organizations formal name is 'Peabody Trust', although it does operates as Peabody. For disambiguation purposes, using the full name is more appropriate than adding a qualifier. --Labattblueboy (talk) 21:27, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Since this isn't the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "Peabody".
— V = I * R (talk to Ohms law) 06:10, 20 January 2010 (UTC) - Oppose. Proposal appears to be based on an apeal to an official name. Andrewa (talk) 11:29, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

I think Andrewa's point above is backwards -- the official name is Peabody Trust, but the operating name is Peabody. Although I just moved it back to Peabody Trust, a move to Peabody (housing association), with brackets, would meet the policy at WP:COMMONNAME. - Fayenatic (talk) 20:22, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Company updates after merger
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
- What I think should be changed: Peabody has merged with Catalyst Housing. The new organisation is responsible for over 104,000 homes and provides services to 220,000 customers across London and the Home Counties.
- Why it should be changed: The information on the current Wikipedia page is out of date

A tenant was found to have been dead for 2 years while Peabody reportedly brushed off whenever other tenants repeatedly expressed concerns about the smell. -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 16:36, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
