Walmart Picture nominated for deletion.
[edit]I have tried numerous times to upload a picture to replace it but Wiki always refuses my request because I can find no copyright permission but I also find no copyright warnings saying they can't be used. Pictures are everywhere, in fact we post them regularly on Twitter and FB and he comments or gives prizes for creativity in how they are used. Can someone please help me find a photo Wikipedia will allow? SusanneSC (talk) 12:47, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
- @SusanneSC: Regarding "
I also find no copyright warnings saying they can't be used
", anything that is not explicitly released into the public domain or under a permissive license is considered copyrighted under the Berne Convention. And fair use images cannot be used for living people according to Wikipedia's policies (which are stricter than US fair use law), because they are inherently replaceable by taking a photo, even if you can't take a photo yourself. The image currently used in the article does not appear to be nominated for deletion though, so not sure what you're talking about. – nyuszika7h (talk) 13:02, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Pedro Fernández (singer)
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Pedro Fernández (singer)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
