[edit]it says in the bit at the bottom of the page that peter played for doncaster 22 times in late 1999 this link http://www.soccerbase.com/results2.sd shows all the games played in that period and he did not play even once for doncaster rovers The GFP 01:07, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
- German Flower Pot, Pedro did indeed play for Doncaster, though I don't have the time to dredge through source material etc right now. Soccerbase isn't a complete record by any means. Will see what I can do when I have a bit of time later. Paulzon (talk) 01:02, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
It says he is the only player to play for both teams in Manchester and Merseyside but he never played for Man UTd, how is this still included?Statto74 (talk) 08:25, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Because he did play for Manchester United once in the League Cup against Bournemouth on 6 October 1982 (see here). – PeeJay 08:38, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Hello, I 've noticed a contradiction in this article - In the career box it says he played for doncaser, but in the main text it says he never palyed for them, this was a mix up with a palyer named Chris Beardsley. I don't know which is correct, but this should be cleared up ... not by me, I always make things worse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.147.117.17 (talk) 07:14, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
"He was transferred to Canadian club Vancouver Whitecaps on 9 September 1982, but his stay in North America was brief. Only weeks after arriving in Canada, he was on his way back to England when Ron Atkinson paid £250,000 to take him to Manchester United." This is completely contradicted by the stats on the right that show that his first stay in Vancouver was 1981-1982, during which he played 48 games. Does someone have the real story? phreakydancin (talk) 14:17, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Reserve manager?
[edit]The lead paragraph says he's the current Newcastle Reserve team manager, whereas the info box says he was the manager until 2011. Which is correct? 194.28.127.53 (talk) 00:46, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Infobox
[edit]The early career lines in the box don't make sense. Either he was at Vancouver on loan from Carlisle, so it should be indicated that way, or if he signed permanently for each of them, the 81-82 season at Carlisle should go between the whitecaps seasons, as it does in the table further down. I'm not sure which is accurate but how it looks just now is wrong either way. Crowsus (talk) 11:22, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
Youth career
[edit]In the info box it says he played at Newcastle then Wallsend but in the article it says it was the other way around. Firestar47 (talk) 11:02, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
