The lead section should show why this person is notable: it's not clear to me whether he's asserted to be notable for his military, political, or religious activities. Rather than the lead sentence describing his birth family, it should be of the form "Peter Buell Allen (dates) was an American xyz.... ". PamD 21:43, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
