[edit]Why is the opinion of Mr. Arnold Heertje included? He is not involved and he has an opinion about everything. I think his opinion does not carry enough weight to be included. Andries (talk) 07:32, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
The Controversy
[edit]It's true, it happened, it's all over the papers in The Netherlands. Quite serious scientists and media support the allegations, some even speaking of "factfree science". But that does not mean it should be in Wikipedia - to this extent. It unbalances the article and the reflist. It should be worded with more caution and restraint. Regards, Sander1453 (talk) 13:50, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
While I agree that the section on allegiations unbalances the article, I don't believe the section should be reworded. Instead, the allegiations might be balanced by a section on Nijkamps contributions to economics. Currently, the article mirrors the not uncommon belief that Nijkamp values quantity of quality. In half a year, no one has found the need to rebalance this article, which suggests there is no dispute at all. Eezacque (talk) 13:11, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
