Does anyone know what complication of MND he died of?

[edit]

Scott-Morgan's website (currently down) used to say that there had been a setback a few months before his death, when it took a month for people to realise that the reason he had stopped communicating was that his eyes were too dry for him to move his eyelids, but that was clearly not the cause of death. But I have not found anything which says what he died of, other than "complications of MND". I'm sure future cyborgs would want to know. His aim of thriving "possibly for decades", previously on his site and mentioned by at least one of the cites, seems to have been stopped as sure as Daleks meeting a step, until ... [I believe they invented something for the 2nd iteration of Dr Who]. As with any complex engineering, the first prototype usually needs to be refined before a model is successful, and clearly a flaw which causes death within the first decade needs to be addressed!
