- ... that on his third expedition to Hudson Bay, Pierre Allemand piloted a captured English ship? Source: "and it was anticipated that Allemand would be able to take command of an English ship if the French succeeded in capturing one, which occurred at Fort Charles (Rupert) early in July." [1]

- Article recently expanded and is long enough. Generally well-referenced, and the hook is interesting and verifiable. QPQ only highlights long names that doesn't have much to be done about. Good to go. Juxlos (talk) 14:52, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
- Interesting story. The article needs a some extra wikilinking to make clear the historical context of a Frenchman visiting Quebec in New France in 1682. Also article relies mostly on one source, suggest you add another WP:RS to support the text. DYK Hook - suggest the following: "on his third expedition to Hudson Bay in 1682, Pierre Allemand piloted a captured English ship into Quebec". Cnbrb (talk) 08:51, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
