Initial comments

[edit]
  • Nothing major (and it won't affect the review in any way), but the Rupee symbol isn't showing up anywhere in the article. Not sure if it's just for me or if there's anyway to fix it
The rupee symbol may not be visible for PC users, but mobile users can see it clearly. A significant majority of the people referring Wikipedia for info are Mobile users, so i chose not to ignore them and let the template remain unaffected. • "The film was also one of the fourteen south Indian films" - southern? But feel free to ignore this

  • "In 2010, the film was further remade in Kannada as Porki by M. V. Sridhar" - I would change this to again, as it to make it sound like an independent remake

  • Cast section: "Brahmanandam as Brahmi – software engineer, Shruti's neighbour" - no need for that hyphen? I'd change this to Brahmanandam as Brahmi, a software engineer and Shruti's neighbour for consistency
 Done Pavan fixed it. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "After seeing still photographs of Ileana D'Cruz" - why 'still'?
 Done Changed to stills with a wikilink. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Prakash Raj and Ashish Vidyarthi were cast as the bad guys" - why are "bad guys" italicised? If it isn't in quotes, it sounds very informal. "Antagonists" would sound better for the part
 DoneSsven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The song "Gala Gala" was shot in the province of Phuket in Thailand, and the City of Bangkok" - city doesn't have to be capitalised I think (it's not capitalised in the lead)
 DoneSsven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Mahesh said in an interview" - stated
 DoneSsven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The electricians changed the lines creating a short circuit resulting in the death of one of the unit members" - syntax errors, perhaps it would read better as The electricians changed the lines , creating a short circuit which resulted in the death of one of the unit members
 DoneSsven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The film earned ₹120 million in Nizam region alone, breaking the previous record set by Indra (2002)" - wasIndra the previous record holder in the Nizam region or was it nationwide?
 Done It was in that region. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 12:49, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re-release

[edit]

@Ab207 I think you know about the upcoming re-release for this film. Well it has just been announced that it is a worldwide re-release so would that be a viable thing to add to this article? SP013 (talk) 14:27, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@SP013: Yep. It can be added if reliable sources take notice of that. -- Ab207 (talk) 14:36, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
