Largest inland port?

Which is the largest inland port, Montreal or Duisburg? Duisburg has 40 million tonnes of goods per year.--Sinuhe20 (talk) 21:31, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2015 Update: Based on annual TEU throughput, Duisport is more than twice as busy as the Port of Montreal (3 million TEUs vs. 1.35 million in 2013...) Largest is a word that should be used carefully on "WP". Because it can mean so many different things. i.e.

"Largest" in terms of geographic area taken up (footprint),
"Largest" in terms of cargo transshipped or persons ferried, or
"Largest" in terms of overall vessels that docked per year?

Illicit Drugs

I think there should be some mention about the large quantities of illegal/illicit drugs being brought into North America through this port. It has been in the news a lot lately.
