Redirection[edit]

Decision to redirect Viman nagar to Pune Airport in wrong. There is lot that can be written about Viman Nagar locality, like it houses multinationals like IBM etc, it is not about Pune Airport alone. And such information cannot be written in Airport article.

Move to remove international tag[edit]

Pune airport's official name is only Pune airport, not pune international airport as per Airport Authority of India http://www.aai.aero/allAirports/pune_generalinfo.jsp It says: "Airport Name Pune Airport" Aviation minister told in indian parliament that pune is not international airport: http://164.100.47.132/LssNew/psearch/QResult15.aspx?qref=78747 Instead it is just a [[custom airport. It doesnt even have 9000 ft long runway, which is currently only 8,329 ft. Skeeptend (talk) 06:10, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

Just pointing out that it should be Pune Airport not Pune airport. Fixed it. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 16:09, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Wrong Image in Infobox[edit]

The image placed in the infobox should be removed! it is definitely not one taken at Pune airport as a Fedex and Blue Dart cargo aircraft is visible. these all-cargo airlines do not service Pune. Trinidade 20:22, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

The above statement is true. There is no cargo area at Pune Airport. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.143.170.241 (talk) 22:41, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

incorrect reference to silk air[edit]

this wiki page mentions that silk air is a low cost airline

that is absolutely incorrect, as silk air is a full service airline.
