[edit]In response:
This article was created because of the notable internet buzz surrounding Rachel Ann Cole. There is much discussion on several Miss America forums about her and her role in both Miss America: Reality Check (a new reality television show currently airing) and her pending appearance at Miss America in Las Vegas. These online forums can be cited as sources if necessary.
She has received notable mainstream media attention in several places, including, but not limited to, the following in print:
Boston Globe: http://www.boston.com/travel/articles/2007/12/09/mad_river_glen_opts_to_restore_not_modernize_its_treasured_single/
Burlington Free Press: http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071224/NEWS/71224014

Middlebury College Public Affairs: http://www.middlebury.edu/about/pubaff/sstory/fellowstudents/news/2007/pubaff_sstory_633201947748309642.htm
As for her theatre accolades, I haven't been able to find specific mention of her recognition online. However, Middlebury's appearance and success at the Kennedy Center Festival are well documented.

It seems to me that her new presence in the public eye calls for an entry. Perhaps if the wording of her recognition were reworked the article would be satisfactory? Duomo (talk) 05:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
