A great article, but it only cites global subsidy figures per country, regardless of national population or train usage within that country. Wouldn't it be useful to include a comparator such as subsidy per passenger mile/km? (In the main text, I appreciate this figure is given in euros per passenger km in the graph.) I could do this, suspect it would be WP:OR to have in an explicit subsidy per passenger km because the figures are not necessarily comparable between countries (e.g. what counts as a metro rather than a rail line) but I could certainly insert some passenger usage figures from Rail usage statistics by country.
