The result of the move request was: Moved to Ratiopharm ulm, {{lowercase}} template added Mike Cline (talk) 15:21, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
Ratiopharm Ulm → ratiopharm ulm – the name of ratiopharm ulm should be written in lower case. See title of official page (www.basketball-ulm.de), the german article and the PR http://www.basketball-ulm.de/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=746&catid=41&Itemid=192

... With the logo revision is accompanied by an altered spelling of the team name. ratiopharm ulm future is written throughout in small letters. This has nothing to do with "understatement", "but is a logical adaptation to the appearance of our main sponsor ratiopharm" explains Andreas Oettel. Simultaneously, the new typeface is the close relationship with the city of Ulm, which waived for years to uppercase, to be expressed. ...

- Oppose MOS:TM, though a redirect should exist. -- 76.65.128.252 (talk) 00:18, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

- If you don't bother to read MOS:TM you won't understand the comment. There's a big giant section on this case on that page, right in the middle of it. Trademarks that begin with a lowercase letter -- 76.65.128.252 (talk) 05:39, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- That "big giant section" "right in the middle of it" about Trademarks that begin with a lowercase letter is about using such an lowercase trademark at the beginning of an sentence. Tony Mach (talk) 19:57, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- That specially colored and highlighted "adidas" example is not at the beginning of a sentence. Clearly, reading is necessary. Capitalize trademarks, as with proper names. ; Trademarks rendered without any capitals are always capitalized. Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules, even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting "official". -- 76.65.128.252 (talk) 05:34, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

- Comment Due to technical reasons, the "r" can't be lowercase in the title, but we can use {{lowercase}} to display it that way. Ego White Tray (talk) 01:23, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Move it: While I think that this kind of lowercase lettering is incredibly stupid bovine feces from another PR department that is totally removed from humanity, it is demonstrated above that they really use the lowercase lettering – do what is no problem with iPod and eBay. I mean, come on, a German basketball team with less than 100 links to the article (and most are probably coming from templates)? If they want a stupid lettering, they should by right get it. Tony Mach (talk) 19:57, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. Nope, MOS:TM makes it pretty clear that we don't write proper names with lower case, even if that's the trademark owner's preference. Jafeluv (talk) 19:37, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Wrong move
[edit]Ulm is the name of the city. The request was for ratiopharm, the sponsor of the team. This move must be undone. Gonzaka (talk) 17:45, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
