Proposed merge with Renal diverticulum

[edit]

This small article could easily be merged into the article about calyces, benefiting readers by presenting this little amount of information on the parent article. Could be expanded at a later date if necessary. LT910001 (talk) 00:17, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just to note the 'renal calyces' page redirects to 'calyx (anatomy). Also there is a page minor calyx and another page major calyx.Iztwoz (talk) 14:07, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You'll need to be more specific. Calyx is a disambiguation page which suggests either minor calyx or major calyx as possible targets for the merge which you need to clarify. And if you really specifically intend renal calyces as the new title of the article, then you have to use the WP:RM process, not the mergefrom/mergeto process, because a redirect cannot be a "merge" target — even the simple act of tagging the redirect for mergeto causes it to stop functioning as a redirect and start acting like an uncategorized article, and you're not allowed to leave a page borked like that. So if you want to merge, pick a different calyx to stick the mergefrom tag on; if you want it at this title, then close this discussion and request it at WP:RM instead.
